Research Centers

University of Finance and Banking (UFB) participates in research programs that are developed in partnership with academic institutions and research centers such as:
- Academy of Economic Studies;
- Institute of Studies in International Relations and Public Policies - ISIRP (Brussels);
- European Centre for International Relations and Strategic Studies - CERISS (Romania);
- Centre for International Public Policy (Belgium).

UFB objective is to attract big names in academic research in finance in Romania, as well as leading personalities from the European financial system (practitioners, analysts, leading experts in the field of banking and so on) in order to be a center of excellence in academic research and financial expertise.

UFB develops academic partnerships with universities in Europe both to promote the exchange of experiences with teachers and students of the University and to access research programs.

There are several research institutes that work within UFB, such as:

C.M.C.A. is a management and consulting entity operating under the University of Finance and Banking, in accordance with Law 84/1995, GEO 26/2000 and the University Charter. Center structure includes academics, researchers, professionals with scientific concerns in management and business consultancy.
C.M.C.A. aims to provide advice on two areas: on the one hand it meets the specific problems present in the local, regional and national business community, on the other hand it works with research centers and universities to disseminate and exploit research within the business community.
C.M.C.A. activity has implications for all sectors of economic activity and quality of life. It aims to ensure a direct relationship by which business environment takes over research results.
